Before we explore the latest key global currency exchange forecasts, let's look at the current conversion rates today:

Sterling values on Tuesday at 1 PM were 1.54513 (+0.22%) for the pound to swiss franc exchange rate (GBP/CHF), 9.87912 (+0.12%) for the pound to chinese yuan exchange rate (GBP/CNY), 1.27530 (+0.32%) for the pound to euro exchange rate (GBP/EUR), 10.41103 (-0.06%) for the pound to norwegian krone exchange rate (GBP/NOK), 11.56249 (+0.1%) for the pound to swedish krona exchange rate (GBP/SEK), 3.65217 (+0.17%) for the pound to lira exchange rate (GBP/TRY) and 18.04586 (+0.09%) for the pound to rand exchange rate (GBP/ZAR).

Pound to Danish Krone Exchange Rate Outlook:

Following the publication of the UK’s Industrial/Manufacturing Production figures, the Danish Krone (GBP DKK) was trending 0.25% higher.

Although the UK’s figures weren’t spectacular, they were in line with forecasts and helped assuage fears that the pace of domestic growth is slowing.

However, if the National Institute of Economic and Social Research’s British GDP estimate for September isn’t impressive, the GBP/DKK exchange rate could falter in the hours ahead.

Danish data is a little lacking until Thursday, when the nation will publish trade balance and current account stats.

Pound to Rand Exchange Rate Forecast:

Yesterday the South African Rand broadly strengthened as markets responded to the appointment of the new South African Reserve Bank Governor with positivity.

However, the Pound to Rand (GBP/ZAR) pared its advance after domestic data showed a decline in South Africa’s foreign reserves.

Notable Rand volatility is likely to occur on Thursday after the publication of South Africa’s Mining and Manufacturing Production reports.

Swedish Krona Exchange Rate Today:

During the European session the Pound to Swedish Krona exchange rate managed to eke out a modest gain.

Swedish data is lacking this week so movement in the GBP/SEK pairing has occurred as a result of UK developments.

If today’s UK growth report impresses the Pound could extend its advance against the Swedish Krona (SEK) before the close of trading.

Next week there are two main Swedish reports to be aware of, the nation’s Inflation and Unemployment stats.

Sterling to Norwegian Krone Rate Outlook Ahead

With the UK’s GDP estimate for September still to be released, the Pound to Norwegian Krone (GBP/NOK) exchange rate was steady following the publication of Norway’s Industrial/Manufacturing production figures.

Industrial production was shown to have fallen by -0.6% in August, month-on-month, a slightly shallower decline than anticipated.

Industrial production was up 2.3% on the year. Meanwhile, Manufacturing Production rose by 5.2% on the year in August following the previous month’s 2.9% annual gain.

On Friday Norway is due to publish its Producer Price Index and inflation rate report, both of which could cause movement in the GBP/NOK.
