FRIENDS and family of a Hampshire dad missing in Prague are returning to the European capital as they step up their search for him.

Karl Law was last seen with friends more than two days ago while on his cousin's stag do in the Czech Republic on Saturday night.

The 34-year-old's brother Craig and cousin Steve have stayed in the city and are conducting a search for him with the help of police and the British Embassy.

They have now been joined by another cousin Lee Cross and his friend Lee Jefferies as they roam the city handing out posters.

Craig, 30, said the father-of-one was last seen outside the Maxim Bar in Old Town Square on Saturday night about midnight.

It was after they returned to the Jury's Inn hotel where Craig was sharing a room with Karl that he noticed he was missing.

He said: “We just assumed that he went to get some food. I fell asleep and just thought he would walk in at some point. I woke up in the morning and he wasn't there.”

The next morning the group mounted a search to find the builder before some returned home.
More than three days later and he still hasn't been found.

Craig added: “He's a family man, really family orientated. He's got his head screwed on, he knows everyone loves him.”

Mr Law, pictured above on the night he went missing, did not have his passport with him but had around £100 in Sterling and 2,500 Koruna - around £70 - on him.

His fiancée, Amanda Collins, says she is "frantic" with worry about her partner after he was due to return home on Sunday evening for his son's birthday yesterday.

She told how she is desperate for news after Karl failed to make contact on their son Lenny's third birthday yesterday.

Amanda, 30, said: “I had spent the afternoon in a soft play area with Lenny to celebrate his birthday.

“Karl and I had been due to put up banners and balloons around the house on Sunday evening when he got back so Lenny would wake up on Monday morning to find them as a surprise.

“But his mum told me at about 5.15pm that Karl would not be home that night because he had gone missing in Prague.

“I am just really, really worried. For him to miss our son's birthday is really worrying.

“I have no idea what could have happened to him.

“He absolutely doted on Lenny.”

Amanda dated Karl for eight years before getting engaged after the birth of Lenny.

A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: “We are aware of a British national reported missing in Prague and are providing consular assistance to the family.”
