APPLETON – EDCi IT Services LLC (formerly a division of EDCi) is announcing its name change to Excelion Partners. EDCi established the IT Services division in 2009 to help companies achieve a lasting impact on their business performance through support, integration, and proficient deployment of technology. Greg Oppermann purchased the division from EDCi in 2014 and has been the sole owner and president since.

Due to continued growth, Ansay & Associates LLC has opened the doors to their new office building, located at 4351 W. College Ave., Appleton.

Employment Resource Group Inc., a retained executive search firm in Appleton, earned several awards at the Management Recruiters International Pacesetter trip In Hawaii. Sharon Hulce, president of ERG, was awarded the International Top Ten Billing “Owner of the Year” for the work she and her team did in the industries of construction, manufacturing and banking. Paul Ristau, vice president at ERG, was also recognized with a Pacesetter award for his work in the Energy Renewables Industry. Hulce was inducted into the Pinnacle Society, a consortium of 75 industry-leading search professionals in North America. The Pinnacle Society provides a business forum for the nation’s top recruiters and Hulce is the only member from Wisconsin.

Voith Paper was recently recognized by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office that works to inform and educate service members and their civilian employers. Colonel Barbara J. Elmer, who nominated Voith for the ESGR award, recently surpassed 30 years of service in the Guard. She has been employed at Voith's Wisconsin-based operation for 27 of those 30 years. Two awards were presented to the company, the first was a Statement of Support presented to Voith for its recognition and acknowledgment of the importance of hiring Guard and Reserve members. The second award, the Patriot Award, was presented to managers Matt Ryan, Robert Hilbing and Joe Alderton — Voith supervisors. The award recognizes individual managers who are supportive of Guard and Reserve employees and recognize the importance of military service.
