S&P 500 Movers: SIG, DLTR

In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Dollar Tree (DLTR) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 5.0%.  Year to date, Dollar Tree registers a 3.7% gain.

And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Signet Jewelers (SIG), trading down 5.1%.  Signet Jewelers is showing a gain of 1.5% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Patterson Companies (PDCO), trading down 5.0%, and Analog Devices (ADI), trading up 4.8% on the day.
