Photos of the week: 8/19 - 8/26

Headlines this week were dominated by extreme and freak weather around the world, especially the devastating earthquakes in Italy and Myanmar. We also saw the effects of forest fires in Spain and Wyoming, and severe heat around Europe.

In other news, violence and protests escalated in Zimbabwe, India and the Democratic Republic of Congo. North Korea also continued to test fire missiles, and the 'worst zoo in the world' in Gaza was shut down.
