Swiss Franc Rises Against Majors

The Swiss franc strengthened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Friday.

The Swiss franc rose to nearly a 1-1/2-month high of 1.0832 against the euro, from an early low of 1.0842.

Against the yen and the pound, the franc advanced to more than a 2-week high of 105.28 and a 4-day high of 1.2510 from yesterday's closing quotes of 105.55 and 1.2525, respectively.

The franc edged up to 0.9655 against the U.S. dollar, from an early low of 0.9669.

If the Swiss franc extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.07 against the euro, 107.00 against the yen, 1.23 against the pound and 0.94 against the greenback.
