October 24 (SeeNews) - German cosmetics and consumer goods retailer dm-drogerie markt said its sales in Croatia totalled 1.99 billion kuna ($288.6 million/265.1 million euro) in financial year 2015/2016 ended in September.
The company invested some 58 million kuna in 2015/2016 in the modernisation of 26 stores throughout Croatia, dm-drogerie said in a statement last week.
In fiscal 2016/2017, the company will invest 97 million kuna into the revamp of 50 stores, the expansion of its Croatia-based logistics center and portfolio development.
Dm-drogerie 156 stores located in 60 Croatian cities where it employs 1,327 people.
Since entering the Croatian market 20 years ago, dm has invested more than 827 million kuna and has contributed 2.79 billion kuna to the state budget.
