The NZ Trade Balance for September has just been released.

They came in worse than expected (i.e. larger deficit):

NZ Trade Balance:

Trade Balance (Sep) $1.44bio deficit Consensus $1.15bio deficit
- Imports (Sep) $4.9bio
- Exports (Sep) $3.5bio

Trade Balance Year to September $3.4bio deficit Consensus $3.1bio deficit

The NZD is marginally lower in immediate response.

NZD-AUD 0.9340 / 0.9365
NZD-EUR 0.6545 / 0.6570
NZD-GBP 0.5830 / 0.5855
NZD-JPY 74.60 / 74.85
