Woman forcibly removed from flight after claiming pet allergy

It was a harrowing scene as a woman was forcibly removed from a Southwest Airlines plane.

She claimed to have a life-threatening allergy to pets, and there were two dogs on board.

When she couldn't produce medical documents, she was asked to get off, but refused.

Some passengers were horrified, while others pleaded with her to calm down.

Southwest Airlines says passengers who say they cannot travel safely with pets must produce a medical certificate, and called the incident 'disheartening.'
