New factories to be built in Kazakh region

New factories are to be opened in South Kazakhstan Region in line with the adopted Industrialization Map, head of the region Janseyit Tuimebayev said.

A total of 20 projects worth 40 billion tenge are to be implemented, according to him.

More than 1,500 workplaces will be opened as a result, with industrial production reaching 920 billion tenge.

Amir-A LLP plans to build a metallurgy plant with 150,000 tons of production capacity. Investments to the project will total 7.5 billion tenge, and 100 new workplaces will be opened.

Green Technology Industries LLP plans to build a plant with a recycling capacity of 50,000 tons of polyethylene waste per year and able to produce staple fiber. The project will cost 6 billion tenge.

Asia-Trafo JSC will begin production of 110-220 kilowatt transforming stations. The 15.9 billion tenge worth enterprise will open 220 workplaces.
