Health officials also state that other people on the flight may have been exposed to the virus and potentially infected.
This is the second time this has happened on an Air Canada flight in less than a month.
Although the risk of catching the infection is low, pregnant women, children, and those who have not been immunized are the most vulnerable to infection. If symptoms are experienced you are advised to stay home as to avoid spreading the virus.
