Leoné Venter appointed as Marketing Manager for SOUNZ

SOUNZ would like to congratulate Leoné Venter on her appointment to the newly established role of Marketing Manager at SOUNZ Centre for New Zealand Music. Leoné was SOUNZ’s Digital Marketing Coordinator prior to this appointment.

This new role combines her existing digital marketing tasks with the additional responsibility of managing SOUNZ’s marketing activities and outcomes.

SOUNZ Executive Director Diana Marsh said, “We are delighted that Leoné has accepted this expanded role to lead SOUNZ’s marketing strategy and activities. She has already achieved huge growth of SOUNZ’s digital audience and exceeded all targets by more than doubling views of SOUNZ films. Leoné will continue to be an excellent advocate for the promotion of New Zealand Music.”

Leoné Venter says, “I am very excited about this role, and I look forward to continuing to build on the success that we have achieved at SOUNZ. I am deeply passionate about meaningful connections, collaboration and championing New Zealand Music through the work of our composers.”

She brings a wide variety of skills to this role, including 15 years of experience in photography, design and digital marketing. In her previous role at SOUNZ she made a significant impact on the growth and engagement of the online audience for New Zealand Music.

Leoné has a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria.
